Summer Internship
Eastland is a fast-paced, thriving church looking for summer interns who are excited to jump on board and contribute to the momentum while learning and serving in the church. The summer is one of the busiest times of the year at Eastland, full of activities, programs, and events. This is an incredible opportunity for a summer intern to get real-life, hands-on ministry experience while also helping us through this busy time.
The ideal candidate for this position would be a young man who desires to one day be a missionary, church planter, pastor, or church staff member and who is seeking personal growth and leadership development during a 10-week minimum summer internship.
It is vital that you be flexible and adaptable in this role. While you will have a point staff member to whom you answer daily, any and all of the pastoral staff may need your assistance for various projects and events.
You will get a behind-the-scenes look at how a large church runs. Through weekly staff meetings, staff lunches, and office encounters, you will have the opportunity to learn from men and women who have a combined total of over 150 years ministry experience. Through teaching opportunities you will gain experience presenting the Word of God. Through event prep and weekly facility-related tasks, you will learn the logistical and functional side of running a church.
