Give and it will be given to you.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
— Jesus Christ (Luke 6:38)

Tithing

When you tithe you are demonstrating to God that you trust Him with your finances.

God has called us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. When we put God first in our finances He promises to provide for us and bless us. In fact, He tells us to put Him to the test and see for ourselves. Those who give find God keeps His promise and they always have more than they had before. Why not try tithing for 3 months and see for yourself how God grows and blesses you?

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
— Malachi 3:10, KJV

Generosity

You will never be able to out-give God.

God gives to us good things we don’t deserve and can never earn. He demonstrated this first by giving us the ultimate gift, His son, for our sins. He teaches us to follow His example of generosity through our giving. Tithing is the first step in our Christian growth but our giving shouldn’t stop there. Those who give beyond their tithe experience God’s blessing in a special way as they spread His love in our community and around the world.
